Be Like Our Father!

Sadly, in today’s society many see the wrongs others do rather than seeing how they might help these individuals. If we look at scripture, Jesus was humble enough to wash people’s feet and do good while the Pharisees pointed out wrong and did evil. We should be like our Father and not the other way around; God resists the proud but is close to the humble. We should be no different. We should help those who are humble enough to receive help and not take it personally when we cannot help others. After all, that is exactly what Jesus did- He did good if people received it or not. This day choose to be more like God our Father. Preach!

Psalm 25:9 (NKJV): 9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.

1 Peter 5:5–7 (NKJV): Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Acts 10:38 (NKJV): 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Mark 6:5 (NKJV): 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.
