God’s Bad Reputation

He loves us deeply; He wouldn’t harm a hair on our heads. God gets a majority of His bad reputation (wrongly, of course) because He has given mankind free will and the authority to overcome the works of the enemy (Luke 10:19); however,  few see their potential in Christ (Philippians 4:13) and use the tools God provided for joy and victory which are found in Christ Jesus. I am not saying we will have a perfect life; I am saying we have joy and know we have victory during the good and bad times. We know God is on our side and we know all things work towards and for our good (Romans 8:31, Roman’s 8:28). This is all true, but there are a few other parts that are vital to our walk. Notice how many times I said, “we know”? Knowing and believing in a loving God is vital to our Christian walk. Seeing His true image (who He is, a loving God) is one of the most important tasks we are given. If we do not know Him and His Son-His words- we do not have eternal life (John 17:3). How can we blame God if we are the ones not spending time with Him? Know Him through prayer, scripture, and the Holy Spirit, and be blessed…

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV): 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Isaiah 56:5 (NKJV): 5 Even to them I will give in My house And

within My walls a place and a name Better  than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name That  shall not be cut off.

Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV): 3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Luke 12:7 (NKJV): 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Romans 8:31–32 (NKJV): 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

John 17:3 (NKJV): 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
