Happy Place!

What am I doing tonight? Behold, one of my happy places!:)

Many Christians have sometimes relied on their beliefs or traditions (yes, I have been guilty of this, checking self is a good thing); not knowing, some have turned around and defied God’s word in their lives (Mark 7:8, Mark 7:13). The truth is, God defines who Christians are and these are people who follow His Son–“learn from me.” If one wants to be healed, delivered, set free, and have eternal life–learn about the Father’s will through His Son! Not everyone is called to be a leader within the church, but we all should find out God’s will for ourselves. He does want us healed! He does want us to have joy (John 15:11)! Thank you, Jesus! Have a good night!

Godnote: Notice the word, “ungodliness” or how I like to put it, “unlikeGod”. In other words, one of the reasons we study the word of God is to get to know Him–His true image. Ungodliness is not the image I want of my Father; rather, I want to see Him for who His–Love (it is written, God is love).

One of my happy places.

2 Timothy 2:15–17 (NKJV)15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,

Matthew 11:29–30 (NKJV)29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Mark 7:8 (NKJV)8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

Mark 7:13 (NKJV)13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

John 15:11 (NKJV)11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Philippians 2:12–16 (NKJV)12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Hosea 4:6 (NKJV)6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
