Politics: Loyalty or Policy?

Politics–from the people’s perspective– is not about loyalty (to a person or party); rather, it is about policy. Opinions or what individuals say can change based on honesty, circumstance, or opportunity. When it comes to our rights, we should not waver from the Constitution. Does the policy or policies support the Constitution? That is the first question anyone–right or left–should ask.

Policy:
noun
plural policies
1. a course or principle of action adopted or proposed by a government, party, business, or individual

“The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the Constitution.” -Thomas Jefferson
