The brave side of us would like us to believe we were fearless and did everything correctly; however, the side that looks at self will admit the times we had fear and dropped the ball. The correct mindset is admitting fault, thinking about what can make us better, and not condemning ourselves. The truth is, I still find fear pops up in certain circumstances; being around many people we do not know, preparing for a speech before Congress, or jumping out of a plane for the first time, fear can still play a role in our lives. Some of us have the ability to face it alone, but having people who love us, those we love, and the country we love will help inspire us to do more and to overcome more with less effort.
Fear will play a part in all our lives, that much is certain. What we do about it, is what makes us great! If we are going solo or facing hell with a ministry team or a special operations team, face our fears one day at a time. Day by day, win, baby! Overcome fear by doing good!
Can you check my tie-downs? I am still a tad respectful of heights. Thanks Pumpkin!
If this chute doesn’t open, I’m going to be ticked (replaced a vulgar word)!
