Perfect Love

By faith – believing in an unseen God- we know God’s hand is up to something good. This morning, I give my heart (praying, talking with Him, letting Him know my needs, desires, etc…) to Him.  When we take our problems and requests to Him we start to see His love for us. Our fears are replaced with His presence. This is what it means when scripture says, “perfect love cast out fear.” It does not mean we have it all together, all of the time, in this fallen world; it means we go to Him and He will be there for us no matter what we might be facing at the time. Hope in this, if we allow Him, He will finish what He started and it is going to be awesome!

1 John 3:1 (NKJV): 3 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

Jeremiah 29:11–12 (NKJV): 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

1 John 4:18 (NKJV): 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.

Hebrews 4:14–16 (NKJV):  15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Philippians 1:6 (NKJV): 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
