Pray for Israel (God’s Chosen)

Prayer

For Israel

Father, we pray that those who are in Christ receive your blessing which includes your peace. We pray for our leaders, that they receive wisdom and boldness. We pray for protection and a sword -the word, the military force- to help protect your people. We thank you in Jesus’ name.

For Our Enemies

As we continue to pray for Israel, also pray for our enemies. That they are convicted, that they turn from their ways of hating, and that they would come to know the truth (God’s truth and the dispute over the land). Thank you, Jesus.

The Right Mindset: I stand with Israel because I am Israel! We are children of God, not beggars.

Galatians 3:29 (NKJV)29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

John 1:12–13 (NKJV)12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Ephesians 2:14–18 (NKJV)14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Acts 10:34–43 (NKJV)34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all—37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

Galatians 6:15–16 (NKJV)15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
