Satan is Outnumbered and Outgunned!

Some of the church has talked about a fallen angel for years and years yet they cannot get past the truth that angels are a big part of God’s plan in a fallen world. Michael, who has battled against Satan continuously since the fall to protect God’s chosen needs to be mentioned here. Satan who goes around and accusing our brothers and sisters to a just God  is not the only archangel on the battlefield. Thank you Jesus for paying the price; indeed, our words should line up with Jesus’ especially when we are facing our enemy in battle -the fight of faith. Father, we thank you for your Son, Holy Spirit, and the angels who decided to battle against evil with us.  A reminder!  Satan is out numbered and out gunned. A church without spot knows God’s will and they put on the full armor that God intended. We also speak words of victory before the battle is even seen as won–“it is written!”

Godnote: God led me back to David (1 Samuel) and He let me know that David was not alone on that battlefield when he faced that giant. A good example of how we should speak to our enemy? How dare you come against the “armies (spiritual and natural) of the living God!”

Godnote: Notice an angel came because of Daniel’s words? Also notice (verse 13) that angel needed help and he received it from Michael “one of the chief princes.” In 2 Kings chapter 6, Angels surrounded Elisha. Angels also helped in the New Testament i.e. when the saints prayed for Peter.

Sidenote: Notice how the angel talked to Daniel–edifying words (husbands and wives! *smile*).

Scripture

1 Samuel 17:24–26 (NKJV)24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid. 25 So the men of Israel said, “Have you seen this man who has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel; and it shall be that the man who kills him the king will enrich with great riches, will give him his daughter, and give his father’s house exemption from taxes in Israel.” 26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?””

1 Samuel 17:45–46 (NKJV)45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

2 Kings 6:16–18 (NKJV)16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Daniel 10:10–14 (NKJV) Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. 11 And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. 12 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”
