The Blessing

Do not mistake the blessing that comes from God (lookup blessing, enjoy, joy in the Bible) with the lust of the flesh. Yes, if we do things out of the will of God for our lives that can get us in trouble, but God is the one who created all the good things we eventually see and experience, not Satan (Satan destroys, steals, etc…). My children came from God. My finances that bless me, my family, and others come from God. My joy comes from God and the good things that come from Him. Having faith in the blessing-the goodness that comes from God – is very important; it is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4, NKJV). How or how come? If we know, without waver, God is good Satan has no chance to defeat us; he only has a chance if we give in and believe the lie. What is the lie? Anything that rises against Christ and God’s will for our lives. God’s will is found in a few places and two are -scripture and the people who live by it. Satan wants to prove God wrong or make Him out to be a liar. This fallen world, Satan and his minions, fallen people, fallen ways can beat the truth right out of us. I know this first hand, this world, and its ways helped me believe the lie more than once. The blessing on the other hand demonstrates the goodness that comes from God. How important is the blessing? Very! The blessing on our lives proves God’s love to us and the people around us! God’s will is written and His will brings good not destruction. We do not want to be used to steal the blessing that God has for us or someone else; rather, we should prove God is good! Keep believing God is good and He will do what He has promised.
