What We Believe

Non-denominational: This ministry is not Pentecostal, Baptist, Word of Faith, Catholic, or any other denomination (or group). We are in Christ and follow Christ. One of our duties here at Raised Faith Ministries (RFM) is to help the body to have the mind of Christ. This does not mean we will not work with other ministries or denominations; this simply means we want to follow Him. Thank you for stopping by and we hope you are blessed by our ministry.

God (our Father) – We believe in one God, Creator of all things good. We believe that those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). We believe He is the Godhead of the three– Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that His will is found in His Son – the Word who became flesh (John 1:14).

Jesus (the Son) – We believe that He is the Son of God (Matthew 3:17), made man through the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:30-37). He was crucified, died, and buried (Matthew 27:32-56). On the third day He –our Savior and friend Jesus Christ—was raised from the dead. He ascended into heaven and remains seated at the right hand of God the Father (Mark 16:19), interceding on our behalf (Romans 8:34). We believe that He is the way, that leads to truth, that gives us life (John 14:6) and no one comes to the Father unless it is through Him—Jesus (John 14:6).

Holy Spirit – We believe that He is the third person– Father, Son, and Holy Spirit –and empowers those who believe. We believe in all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-31). We believe that the Holy Spirit leads us to truth and God’s word is truth which is able to set us free (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 17:17, John 8:32). We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and He is the same Holy Spirit who raised Lazarus and Jesus (Romans 6:10-11) from the Dead!

Salvation – We believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to our Father (John 14:6). We believe through our submission and the blood Jesus shed whosoever believes in Jesus will be saved– becomes born-again (John 3:15-16, John 3:3-21); through submitting to and knowing God through His Son –we become heirs according to the promise—God’s children (Galatians 3:29, Acts 20:32, 1 John3:1).

Prayer – We believe that God–our Father–seated us in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) and that Jesus taught us how to pray–“Our Father”‘; we boldly go to the throne of grace when we are in need and pray as sons and daughters.  We believe that the effectual prayer of a righteous man results in an answer from God (James 5:16). We remain confident that if we approach God according to His will (written word of God) that we will be heard. We believe that if we lay hands on the sick, they will recover (James 5:14, Mark 16:18).

Miracles/Healing – We believe that, with God, all things are possible: be it spiritual, physical, mental, or financial. We believe God wants His body well and healed (1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 4:12, Acts 10:38)! We have believed and have seen the miraculous.

Prosperity – We believe that God desires for us to be successful in all areas of life, including our finances (Proverbs 28:25, 3 John 1:2, Psalm 1:3, Joshua 1:8). God’s will is to heal poverty just as much as He wants to heal stage four cancer; both attack His body (if you are a believer, you are a part of His body!).
