I am going to say this to me and everyone else who reads this. You are good enough. Yes, You! God wants us to have the best, but sometimes our fallen way of thinking gets in the way (I am not good enough, fear and doubt, etc…). The miracle, the blessing, the job, the girlfriend or boyfriend, the home, the good things in life that we desire sometimes seem out of our reach, or they might seem too good to be true. We lean on what He says and not on what people say or our current circumstances. This is why we all should elevate God’s word above all other opinions- including our own- because it is the way to victory in this life and the life to come. Yes, through what He did for us (made us right standing with the Father), we are good enough to be blessed by our Father.
Romans 3:26 (NKJV): 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans 8:31–35 (NKJV): 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Ephesians 3:20–21 (NKJV): 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
John 14:6–7 (NKJV): 6 Jesus said to him,“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
