Why do I respect the younger and older among us? The younger, Jesus was about His Father’s business at a young age (12,13-year-old) and showed Himself to be wise among the leaders and elders of the synagogues. Jesus’ ministry started when he was in His early 30s (natural years). The older, throughout scripture, God discusses extending life for those who love Him and know Him (scripturally, knowing God is wisdom and understanding). We see examples of supernatural blessings throughout the Bible that comes from having faith and a relationship with our Creator. One such story, Abraham and his wife Sarah. Abraham had faith, when God told him he would be a father of many nations, he believed it and here we are– children of God.
Even though I am older, I respect the younger; even though I am younger, I respect the older among us.
A Very Important Side Note: Both Jesus and Abraham were mocked by family member(s) and others who did not have a relationship with God. Abraham was mocked by his wife (imagine that) and Jesus was mocked–by the girl’s family members.- for believing a young girl would be resurrected from the dead. What did Jesus do? He threw unbelief out! If God tells us something good, and we know it is Him–believe it!
P.S. I have much to do, I will edit and add scripture later. Study the key topic and phrases I discussed above. Thank you for reading…
